CAPTAIN AHAB STRIKES AGAIN

Just when I was ready to crawl into 2007 with ease, Captain Lieberman came out of the hull to publish his "opinion" in the Washington Post of why we need to remain in Iraq and why we need to increase troop levels: indeed, a symbolic, big middle finger to all those whom he opposes. Of course, Captain Ahab had to promulgate his opinion, which, let's face it, isn't new, from D.C. He wouldn't deign to publish this opinion first in the CT papers because really folks, he's for the CT people and tired of the partisan politics of the D.C. beltway. In lieu of deigning, therefore, he started McCaining, or better yet, McFeigning because who the hell knows who John McCain is any more in his latest quest to secure the Republican nomination: Straight but Crooked Talk Express; Bush Talk Express; Bullshit Talk Express; or better yet, a potpourri thereof.
